SEARCH: J2EE developper
At one of the recent projects S-O-B is searching for a shigh killed Oracle DBA/Developper.
For one of the largest second tier telco's in Belgium we look for a high skilled J2EE professional for a permanent position. The organisation is very marketing driven with a focus on B2C markets in Belgium and the Nethelands.
The challenge is consolidation of systems, the application infrastructure needs to be rationalized, it is formed due to M&A activities and a setup that was copied from first tier organisations. This infrastructure blocks flexible and fast actions.
The focus of the role will be:
- maintaining of current web-sites and storefronts
- design and development on the network inventory and provisioning systems
- design and devleopment of required functionality
- re-engineering the middleware layer
- support of marketing in customer interaction and datacollection
It is a challeging role in a demandingorganisation.
The ideal candidate brings several years of development experience in J2EE, has knowledge of HTML and java-scripting. PL*SQL and Oracle have no secrets anymore. A second programming skill is always a benefit, like Perl or C
The environment consists of Linux and Solaris, with windows desktops. The development is done in an Excalibur, Struts, Fortress setting. The size of the team is 20 to 25 people.
